started blabbing about Putins influencing our elections..? Money Laundering tips?
If he was going to spill the beans, tell all the secrets he learned from Putin?
Is TFG a threat to Putin? Think TFG ever lies awake worried about it?

Putin, being the smarter one, told TFG nothing of value and in fact probably lied to TFG many times.

(37,999 posts)Putin wants to see America tear itself apart. TFG is only useful to Vladimir in relation to that end.
His secrets only matter if revealing them makes the Russian people turn against him. Considering he controls the press and elections in his country, that is unlikely.

Putin knows half the US doesn't care that the Russians installed Trump
and interfered with elections. And the other half doesn't believe anything Trump says.

This was Putin in 2016. Best case scenario at the time was to sow a bit of chaos and bullshit in the US. An ambit claim. However the number of undereducated, underinformed partisan repub idiots made it possible for Putin to far exceed his wildest dreams. Just look at what you got.
It almost destroyed the US. Knowingly or not V Putin engaged the sensibilities of an authoritarian, white supremacist element in US voters. I also don't discount ultra-malarkey with the electoral rolls.
IMO it's an unproductive excercise to 'let your imagination run wild' on Putin taking out tfg or anything else related to the 2020 (or 2016 for that matter) elections. This is a long hard grind against the idiotic forces. Always remember 'Empty cans rattle the loudest'. These empty cans have a loud voice on the internet. We, as humans, need to deal with this anomaly; that fucking idiots are just as influential as measured, educated people.
