https://www.forbes.com/sites/michelatindera/2021/12/07/more-than-50-billionaires-including-a-couple-of-trump-supporters-have-donated-to-senator-kyrsten-sinema/?sh=eacc7b63a4d8Over the last five years Democratic Senator Kyrsten Sinema has received contributions from more than 50 billionaire supporters, all but one of whom hail from outside of her home state of Arizona.
Since 2016, 59 billionaires and 6 spouses of billionaires have donated to Sinemas campaign committees, or associated leadership and joint-fundraising committees, according to a review of Federal Election data. A dozen billionaires call Arizona home, but only one of them has donated to Sinema. Ernest Garcia II, the largest shareholder of online used car seller Carvana, donated $11,200 with his wife, Joanne, in 2017 and 2021.
One third of Sinemas billionaire supporters live in California, and another third reside in New York. Among them: Crypto kings Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, Gap heir Robert Fisher and Intuit founder Scott Cook. About one third also come from the financial industry.
Unsurprisingly, Sinema, who served in the House before winning a Senate seat in 2018, received most of her billionaires donations in the run-up to the Senate election. But in 2021, she attracted support from SC Johnson CEO H. Fisk Johnson, Hyatt heiress Gigi Pritzker and film producer Thomas Tull. Some GOP donors, like Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam and hedge fund titan Louis Bacon, have also showed some support.
About two thirds of Sinemas donors gave to Joe Biden ahead of the 2020 election. Two gave to Donald Trumps campaign in 2020: Apollo Global Management CEO Marc Rowan and Hubbard Broadcasting CEO Stanley Hubbard.

Her seat was bought (paid for?) by billionare supporters from outside of Arizona?
It's become the norm these days.

Its a hard pill to swallow but it was always going to end this way. Its the way it started out. Only rich, landowning white men were allowed to vote at first and theyve done everything they could to maintain that. There was a brief period when the People were winning but that didnt last long and now were back to where its supposed to be. Weve never been a democracy and we certainly never will be now. The bad guys won. They wanted it more.
