Speak like senators. Tell us what your objective is. Tell us why. Quit acting like spoiled children who want attention. Or do you have a grudge and feel like a victim like the other side. If so please tell us. Many people worked hard to get you elected, answer to them

I knew as soon as President Biden took office and started talking that simpleminded shit about bipartisanship, that he was going to kill his own agenda. He played around with these two assholes for a whole year. Considering the political environment, He should have been wearing out a pair of shoes in someone's ass every day until he got his agenda through. I am disappointed, to say the least.

To clarify, Biden set the stage for dissension in his own ranks (Democrats) by talking about bipartisanship. He spent the whole year talking to these two assholes, in the foolish belief he could negotiate to them. Manchin has a history of this kinda stuff, so no surprise there. Apparently, the president has no power.

Hardball on these two across the board. Two assholes are stopping progress for 300 million Americans.

they pretend that they plan to negotiate, but they aren't actually doing that.

It would be less frustrating if they just said: we won't vote for anything now that we got what we wanted. We'd know where we stand.

every year - unlike those of us on DU. Most people, if they vote, are simply choosing a party and do not even know anything about the person and have no desire to try and find out. It is rather sad.

do nothing to prevent Republicans from doing what they planned with the EV. Sure, it will help insure people's right to vote. But will do absolutely nothing to prevent the Republicans from running their "Green Bay Sweep" again.

They certainly aren't being led by common sense and what's right to do. They both allowed a "carve out" so the US wouldn't default on its debts, but they refuse the same for our most fundamental right. It's really hard to wrap your head around. Why do they bother with the "I'm a Democrat" charade?
