My wholly uninformed guess is she weekly asks internal pollsters "how do I best pander to my idiot base? What are the buzz words they want to hear today? Who should I tell them we hate this week?"

And she'll repeat them even if they force her to read aloud words she doesn't understand... which may be why she appears to take a dramatic pause at weird times and just prior to speaking aloud a polysyllabic, non-colloquial word-- she's gotta work out the phonetic spelling in her brain.
