The viewership on cable & satellite TV is pathetically low.
Ad buys are literally in double digits for a 15 second spot.
The loss, even if temporary, of those carriage revenues will bury them in more debt than the holding company will tolerate.
They'll be on a YouTube channel soon, and all 5,000 of their loyalists can watch on a laptop while the network begs them for money.
