3. The continual stigmatization of people with mental illness

is past old. People aren't mentally ill because you disagree with them, and people with mental illness aren't necessarily Trumpsters who deserve scorn. I'm sick to fucking death of this bullshit. Thanks for working so hard to promote the stigmatization around mental illness. God forbid the mentally ill be treated as human.

BTW, "crazy" isn't a diagnosis in the DSM. Nor is propensity toward conspiracy theories. That is a choice. Mental illness is not.

and don't think logically. Most are likely poorly educated. Describe what is wrong with their POV rather than relying on the inaccurate crutch of mental illness.

14. It seems like there's more than just ignorance and lack of education involved here

I hear a lot of delusion and lack of connection to reality going on. And their leader's various personality disorders were described in Bandy Lee's book, The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 37 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President.

15. Many psychiatrists have diagnosed Trump with anti-social personality disorder

But they have not diagnosed his followers. Absent a clinical diagnosis, you can't know if someone is mentally ill. Assuming that people whom one disagrees with are mentally ill is intellectually weak and dismissive of those who do suffer from mental illness. People need to ask themselves why they feel so comfortable dehumanizing a significant portion of the population. Why do they consider us inferior to themselves? And how is that anything but bigotry?

Mentally.ill person here
I have been disabled by it.
..
Yeah the stigma is everywhere for people with mental illness.
Mental illness isnt voluntary it hits you when it hits you. Then you need help.

Its not easy to live with trauma, depression,
anxiety ,thought disorders and obsessive disorders.

Cops kill a lot of mentally ill people. Because they exhibit symptoms.

Yet millions of people do.
They hide it because of the stigma.

If they get enough reports, they'll finally do something about Right Side Broadcasting Network.

Also why did Twitter allow this to be posted?

6. I agree that mental health problems are a very serious issue

in this country, but I doubt we would make the kind of investment that's needed. If we had universal healthcare that included mental health treatment, we might eventually see some changes, but probably hundreds of billions would have to be invested just in mental health treatment. It's been a problem for a long time, and the problem is seemingly getting worse by the day. Instead of dealing with the issue, we're left picking up the pieces after mental health problems go off the rails, such as in the aftermath of mass shootings. I don't know when it's going to get to the point where Americans say they've had enough and demand action to remedy the situation. You'd think we would have reached that point already.
