What did Senator Grassley know about Jan 6 and when did he know it?

https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2021/12/11/2068803/-So-why-did-Chuck-Grassley-expect-Pence-s-absence-from-the-Capitol-on-6-January

'Was Pence worried he’d get “disappeared” on Insurrection Day? The ambiguity comes from the multiple descriptions of holding Pence within the confines of the Capitol. It looks like Grassley was expected to be part of a scheme on 1/5 to substitute for Pence who perhaps the seditionists expected would be “detained” by the Oath Keepers. The Meadows Power Point was presented on the hill on 4 January and on 5 January Grassley was confused about Pence “not being there. The witness list for the Select Committee gets longer.'

and we let them. DOJ had to know about the fraudulent electors in 7 states, the Michigan AG has been working on the case for a year.

DOJ should be working on the Raffensperger/Trump phone call instead of leaving it to the Fulton county DA.

We keep saying they have to make a case, all they have to do is tape Rachel's show.

Day 34 since the select committee sent the Meadow's referral to DOJ.

I am getting impatient again, sorry.

Why should everything have to go through the select committee first? When I say everything I mean the big fish, the political people.

The select committee has to be careful issuing subpoenas to Congressional GQPers, DOJ has more clout, more authority. DOJ can force Grassley or Pence to give a deposition without going through the Supreme Court.

I just don't get it.

It will soon be Steve Kornacki time.

As Eastman and Trump pressure Pence and Pence's aides/lawyers, the rest of the Trump WH is in full-steam ahead mode that same day. See "Peril" chapter 41. "Graham was at the WH on January 4, where he received some memos supporting Trump's claims." We put those memos in the book.

Chief of staff Mark Meadows is working with Trump this whole time, and we show him meeting with Graham and Giuliani on how to push Trump's efforts along. See his Jan. 2 meeting with both of them on p. 212-214 of "Peril." [snip]

Think of it as the set-up day for the eve of the insurrection, Jan. 5, when Bannon and Giuliani work from the Willard and Trump pressures Pence, 1 on 1, in Oval.

Not just Grassley... oh, Lindsey Graham. There you are. Tch.
