BTW Tuberville is one of the top suspects in planning the Jan. 6th terrorist attack, and ran a shady veterans charity in which very little if any money went to veterans.

Saban should have written Manchin a letter urging him to support killing the filibuster.

From CNN's reporting - the added footnote reads:

"Coach Saban is not in favor of getting rid of the filibuster in the Senate. He believes this will destroy the checks and balances we must have in our Democracy. The others signing this letter take no position on this aspect of Senate policies"

in order to attend college/university and play football or basketball unless voting rights for their mother's are protected the problem would be solved.

Excuse me while I go to the store to buy some more tinfoil.

And every player recruited believes HE also has what it takes to get to the NFL
The SEC total has nearly 400 of the current total NFL roster

Merely one of the greatest basketball players ever. A standout from high school (in West Virginia) to college (at University of West Virginia, All American) to the Olympics (1960 co-captain with Oscar Robertson of the Gold Medal winning team) to the NBA (All Star with the Lakers) to being an executive with several NBA teams.

Again Jerry West to a real West Virginia hero. But will any of this influence Manchin?

in the 50s/60s. His home county was Democratic at that time going for Stevenson both times, JFK, LBJ, and Humphrey. And he was a student at Kent State in May 1971 (look it up).

It is in his interest, given the number of black players on his team, to support things like this no matter his personal views. He also said that Tuberville would do a great job as AL Senator.
