Stroll down memory lane; on the left is my nephew - my sister's son, who trained as a boatbuilder then re-trained as a wind turbine blade technician.
On the right is my dad in 1952, maintaining the cranes that built ships in Scotland.
I cannot believe he was allowed to SMOKE on the job in those days.
