Federal Court reveals why it backed decision to send Novak Djokovic home

/snip
However, the Federal Court in its written reasons for its decision, published on Thursday afternoon, said: “We reject the proposition that it was not open to the minister to find or conclude that Mr Djokovic had a stance that was well-known on vaccination and that he was opposed to it.”

The judges said Djokovic’s views canvassed in the BBC article were “expressed and publicly known even before there was a COVID-19 vaccine”.

“Further, there was no issue but that Mr Djokovic was not, by January 2022, vaccinated. It was plainly open to the minister to infer that Mr Djokovic had for over a year chosen not to be vaccinated since vaccines became available,” they said.

“That he had a reason not to have a vaccination at the time of the decision in January 2022, apparently having contracted COVID-19 on or about 16 December 2021, did not say anything as to the position for the many months from the availability of vaccines to December 2021.

Actually, I was thinking of trump. I don't think Novaxx Djoke-Covid is anywhere near as bad as trump, and I actually liked him in the early part of the previous decade.

However, he cast his lot, and he, and only he, is to blame for the Australia debacle. I think his legacy is always going to feature this fiasco.

Novaxx: get over it. If you want to play in tournaments, abide by the rules. It's pretty simple.

athletes who are not vaccinated, at least I know for sure Irving is still unvaxxed. Rodgers may have gotten vaxxed since his "I'm inoculated" imbroglio broke a few months ago.

All are of course foolish with these stances. Maybe it stems from athletes being pampered from high school even that they become self-centered and expect exceptions to be made for them routinely.
