I don't get it

Republicans/Conservatives talk the most trash and are always disparaging democrats/liberals. They never compromise or try to get to know us. They fight us on EVERYTHING and all things are political to them. They spread hate and misinformation. But somehow it’s always up to the Democrats to find common ground and compromise, or to get to know and understand Trump voters. And anytime Democrats fight back we get labeled as the party unwilling to work together.

1. Political pundits make a living talking trash on both sides of the aisle. I think the

difference is the GOP never has anything to offer other than tax cuts. These nasty people have been around forever but the recent political climate has made it acceptable to be nasty. I think it is a learned thing that passes from one generation to another.

I know in Texas it has a religious background not sure about elsewhere. The "holier-than-thou" attitude seems to be a common thread.

2. The GOP propaganda machine spews the narrative.

GOP good, Dems bad.

Dems create all the problems, they are to blame for the crimes the GOP commits.
