Fatal to his career, that is.
Attacking Howard Stern this way is a surefire method to get one's ass reamed out but good.
Tucker Carlson launches bizarre attack on Howard Stern, suggests hormonal change led to support for vaccine mandate
"Maybe it was the coronavirus that broke him, maybe it was just hormonal changes in middle age. He's now a coward and his broadcast is about cowardice, amplifying his fears about corona over the air and attacking -- more precisely, attacking anybody else who has decided to live life as a free person."

(8,425 posts)Stern has the most popular show on Sirius and bashed Trump repeatedly the past four years. Even told his listeners that may be Trumpers that Trump would toss all of them if they showed up a mar-a-lago because they'd make him puke.

(42,531 posts)Hannity draws over 3 million viewers a night. Stern may not get that many listeners in a week. And Hannity gets 14 million listeners in a week on his radio show.
Howard's audience doesn't necessarily overlap with Trump's. According to Sirius, Howard's audienceHoward consists of upscale professionals, 74% between 25-54 years of age with an average household income of $160k.

(7 posts)I think a deal was made. If Trump was going to go on Hannity, and NOT talk about election fraud, he agreed, if someone in primetime did a hit-piece on Howard. Howards been bashing Trump for a while, Trump reportedly listens every day but won't attack Howard directly himself. He's afraid of Howard and Howard has seriously suggested running for President, solely to thwart Trump. I know its sounds crazy but ..... consistent these days.

(37,152 posts)...and the only way it would be a "fatal error" for Will-Always-Be-Bow-Tie-Boy is if there was a massive overlap and they all rejected him for attacking Stern.
I don't see that happening. The audience Tuck-ums has been playing to are the type that would have already rejected Stern the moment he said anything they didn't like. Which, over the last 4 years, is highly probable.

(7,403 posts)Last I remember seeing or hearing him was when they had the E show like 20 years ago that was segments from the radio broadcast. Used to listen in the 80s and 90s though, remember Fred, Jackie the Joke Man, stuttering John, Robin and Gary, they always had strippers on from a club in NYC called Scores that they always talked about, it was edgy back then I guess.
