running up to 2016 election. At least we’d have trump’s 4 years back, 3 more liberal judges to look at Citizens United, banking laws, tax increases, etc.

some, not all, things during the Obama and Clinton administrations? If he kept his mouth shut, we'd still have half the country going apeshit because there was a black man in the White House. We still would have had half the country thinking that a fat, privileged heir with no political experience, a bad combover and makeup would make a better POTUS than a former Secretary of State and senator from the second most populous state in the nation. Oh, and then there's the Russian meddling. Even so, Clinton would have been POTUS if it weren't for the mother fucking electoral college. NONE of that has anything to do with Reich.

Bonuses came out in February (you knew when they came out, because all of a sudden you started seeing a lot of fur coats in the elevators).

One trader got a $3.5 MILLION dollar bonus, yet he resigned the next day claiming that based on amount of $$$ he made for the bank he was being shortchanged.

When is too much not enough?

Entitled assholes.

(One day the elevator had a problem and stopped between floors going down at the end of the day. One of the 33rd floor people - our traders - was whining about not being able to make it to one of the midtown clubs for when it opened.)

I'd be OK with going back to the mid '70s though.

Like right after Nixon resigned and we finally packed up and left Vietnam. We had a few good years in there as I recall.

It doesn’t have to remain this way. We are not prisoners of bad decisions made in the past. We can and should rein in Wall Street, break up its five giant “too-big-to-fail” banks, support local and state banks, resurrect the Glass-Steagall Act’s divide between investment and commercial banking, tax all financial transactions — and rebuild jobs and wages on the product side of the American economy.
