What to do about Justice Thomas?

Impeachment is likely to fail, in my opinion. I hope the media will keep coming at him and his wife, Ginni, with the facts. The constant barrage exposing bad behavior may force him to resign and may reveal incriminating or illegal activity. Here are three articles about the infamous judge and his wife:

Many Americans first became aware of Ginni Thomas’s activism on January 6, 2021. That morning, before the Stop the Steal rally in Washington, D.C., turned into an assault on the Capitol resulting in the deaths of at least five people, she cheered on the supporters of President Donald Trump who had gathered to overturn Biden’s election. In a Facebook post that went viral, she linked to a news item about the protest, writing, “love maga people!!!!” Shortly afterward, she posted about Ronald Reagan’s famous “A Time for Choosing” speech. Her next status update said, “god bless each of you standing up or praying.”

It wasn't only Anita Hill: 'Alaska attorney, Moira Smith, wrote on Facebook about her own experiences as a victim of sexual misconduct in 1999. “I was so incredibly excited to meet him, rough confirmation hearings notwithstanding,” Smith continued. “He was charming in many ways — giant, booming laugh, charismatic, approachable. But to my complete shock, he groped me while I was setting the table, suggesting I should ‘sit right next to him.’ When I feebly explained I’d been assigned to the other table, he groped again … ‘Are you sure?’ I said I was and proceeded to keep my distance.” Smith had been silent for 17 years but, infuriated by the “Grab ’em by the pussy” utterings of a presidential candidate, could keep quiet no more.

Ginni is involved with numerous far-right organizations and schemes that take very public positions on Court decisions across a range of social and political issues, such as last week’s 8-1 holding that Donald Trump could not block the release of documents related to the January 6 insurrection," New Republic editor Michael Tomasky wrote. "Thomas was the lone dissenter in that case. His wife sat on the advisory board of a group that sent busloads of insurrectionists to Washington that day. In addition to that, she cheered the insurrection on Facebook."

Except, perhaps to hope that he resigns. Any impeachment attempt would fail, and there is no other way to remove him from his seat. Any time spent trying to find a way is time wasted.

And if it succeeded, you'd be opening the door to a Republican Congress going after liberal justices over ideology.

Try to get Ginni's involvement in 1.6 covered by mainstream media. They should also talk about her other activities that create a conflict of interest for Thomas. Also, invite others who have been touched inappropriately to come forward.

I think families of judges need to be extra careful about creating COI. And it's simple, as justice you recuse yourself when such a conflict happens.

Having outspoken political beliefs does not create a stake in any case before a court. You don't give up your first amendment rights when you marry a judge.

She works for organizations that advocate and fund (probably legal funding) for different issues that show up before the court.

Do not have a direct financial stake in the outcome. If a Judge's spouse advocates for pro-choice organizations and donates to PP, the judge can still rule on abortion rights issues.

and hound the hell out of her when she is out in public. Don't let this fascist trash get away with anything.

Let her know what an atrocity she is, and that she is doing an outstanding job in further trashing her husbands legacy, if he had any legacy left to trash anyway.
