Seriously: President Biden screwed up w/ Peter Doocy

It doesn't matter that Doocy is a R/W troll who is able to use WH Press Credentials to goad President Biden. The mark of ANY good politician is the ability to defuse a heckler. Biden losing his cool gave Fox and other RW outlets material to hype for days and made the story about Biden's personality rather than Administration policy.

If you disagree, ask why President Biden had the good sense to apologize to him.

I am frequently heard to decry the constant use of the F-word in modern TV, though I pretend it's because it's so repetitive it loses any effect. (In reality, I find it vulgar.

Who would be antagonized by Biden calling a stupid sonovabitch a stupid sonovabitch? Not too many people who might vote for him.
Agreed, the Foxers will use any excuse, but they do anyway. When Biden responded graciously to that little jerk who said let's go Brandon on a Christmas call, the Foxers said he was a wimp.

No way to win.

But I still don't like it that he said the ACA was a big f-ing deal. Sometimes I think I'm my own grandmother.

Conservatives won't need to be convinced that they don't like Democrats, and Liberals won't need to be convinced that they do. People in the middle, who's votes we need to hold the House and to pick up Senate seats in battleground States shouldn't be seeing anything that goes counter to Democratic stability in leadership.

We can't afford to let a single stupid excuse for people not to vote for Democrats slip by. And there are people who are stupid enough not to vote for Democrats because they are "mean" or "immature" or "vulgar"... nevermind all the shit that Trump got a pass on for four years.

Besides which Biden is a professional politician who should be able to better control his temper and his tongue. Maybe Deucy deserved it but what will the consequences be if Biden hot mics an insult about Putin or Xi in the middle of sensitive negotiations?

Is it the end of the world? No. Is it something we should spend a lot of time defending and making up lame excuses for? Not really.

Frankly, I think it's good politics to let everyone know that doocy is a stupid jerk.

And to let everyone know that Biden knows it.

These people need to be called out when they say things that are stupid, obnoxious, etc. and sometimes not it a calm professorial tone.

Then, it also may make sense to apologize, so that people understand he's rather have politeness and decorum all around.

Frankly I'm not sure the whole thing was an accident.

Both the insult and the apology were exactly perfectly done. Watch for a lot more of this to happen. Fauci did it with Rand Paul. Biden also handed a guy his ass in the "two-hour press conference," and it was exceptionally well done. It's exactly what is needed right now. Take charge, kick ass, take names, wax gentlemanly too. Perfection.

Doocy takes a shit on every Press Briefing. WH or Jen Psaki.
He's needs to be seated in the back with a notebook & no longer be given the priviledge of speaking a word.

Tue Jan 25, 2022, 12:50 AM
Jan 2022

First last summer, both the White House & Federal Reserve dismissed it as being only transitory. Three months ago, Jen Psaki described inflation as a good sign, because it showed that the economy was doing well.

The public however sees it every day when they shop and buy gas and polling shows it is the #1 issue right now for voters. That may or may not change between now and November, but it certainly needs to be a concern for the midterms.

While Doocy's question may have been somewhat provocative, I agree that the President could have handled it in a way that would have better addressed that he understood and empathized with the voter's angst. While the insult was popular with the base, the independents are the ones that we should be concerned about given the recent polls.

Doocy has been making an ass of himself in the WH press corps since Biden took office. He earned the distinction to have his gotcha idiocy properly labeled by Biden.

I think most people are cheering this, and the only ones upset will be those who hate Biden to begin with. We want the world to be real like this, call out the crap.
