Trump is vetting who gets legal fees paid,

Matt Schlapp is in charge of the First Amendment Fund, and arm of the American Conservative Union. This organization is being funded by American oligarchs and has millions of dollars.

This fund was set up to fund Trump aides who are being asked to testify before the select committee.

There is a catch, not everyone gets the money, Trump's team decides who is eligible. To be eligible for legal funding one has to promise not to cooperate with the select committee.

People better start being held accountable. I watched Steve Bannon do one of his pod casts, he is not the least bit affected by being indicted, he is still promoting the Big Lie every day.

I'm sure he knows how to word it to stay out of trouble. Trump, himself isn't doing the vetting anyway.

these POS should have been run out of town after the Pilot J scandal, but wealth buys a lot of effective PR and public amnesia.

and the fine/restitution was chump change for these scumbags. Instead of being portrayed as pillars of the community, they all should have been individually prosecuted for their involvement. Another instance of DOJ letting subordinates and the corporation take the fall while the real villains avoid any significant consequences.

Jimmy nor his brother never said, "Caught doing what?" I guess their scam went on for years.

before the committee do so under oath. Even if people are receiving free legal help they can't commit perjury. I guess the Trump lawyer will advise them to plead the 5th or to not answer.

These fuckers will not go down easy, c'mon DOJ I want action.

7. So Trump isn't paying any of his own legal fees either.

I still expect Trump to escape all consequences no matter what charges are brought against him. If you have unlimited resources the law will never be able to get you and with multiple billionaires willing to pay all his court costs he will have more resources than anyone has ever had.
