MAGAts love to spout this when reveling in their praise of the military. The expression is used to describe sacrifice during times of crisis, and to express gratitude to the military for defending freedom.

So why can't they understand that the vaccines and mitigation practices are just a sacrifice during a crisis? That their freedoms are protected when they protect everyone's freedoms?

Is it too late to even try this method of appealing to all the fucking idiots that won't get vaccinated?
