I don't know if a scanned image is as good as the real thing. But here in Wisconsin, I don't think anyone cares.

6. The problem with scanning is ...

that it allows for forgeries. We've all heard about people using fake vaccine cards.

With a QR code, it's usually a state sanction card with only your name.
You can share your QR code it you want, but it will display your name, and the person using it will have to create a fake ID card with your name.

This make it harder to forge a vaccine card.
And it's super easy to use. It's like a QR Code ticket, we use, to see a concert or sporting event.

But the original 2 shot regimen is documented, dated, and QR coded.
