How does that benefit the hospital? Sure seems like it hurts the effort to get rid of the virus variations.

for money, telling them they're post covid but keeping them in their high-priced beds, thus denying precious bed space to non-covid patients needing hospitalization?
That sounds criminal to me.
And if that's the case, that's criminal. And it doesn't make sense to me since the hospitals could fill those beds with non-covid patients clamoring to get admitted.
Are authorities beginning to recognize this as the criminal and ethical problem it is?
