We desperately need one of the Cons to leave the court or retire. Thomas would be great. Tim to flip this court back to the mainstream of the country.

It'll take a lot of diplomacy within the party to goad Sinema and Manchin to go along with any Biden nominees. Rest assured even the most moderate choice will be painted as a tree huggin' lib and the media will go right along with the mischaracterization.

And then the Republican and right-wing tantrums will be used as proof of the "divisiveness" of any nominee- and likely be seized upon by Manchin and Sinema as reason to demand Biden nominate somebody else. And I'm not even mentioning the probable race and/or gender of any prospective nominees and the outrage and hysteria THAT will cause.

Not sure about Sinema's record, but Manchin has gone with the party vote. I sincerely hope that continues, because we need Manchin to do his job and not make waves. He has already done enough damage.
