I once got roped into a savior moment, I guess you'd call it that. Was picking up my child from a birthday party, the Mom asked if I'd like to stay and chat, have coffee and cake. OK? I really had no desire as I worked all day already and had laundry to get home to. So we sat down. After a few minutes she started with some gobbly gook nonsense, and then something about the Lord taking over. She bowed her head, grabbed my hand and started this low chanting stuff. Well I figured she must have been taken over by something, so head down I quietly waited. Finally she tugged my hand she held and was prompting me to join in. Oh it did not go well. I said something about this being ridiculous and thanks for the coffee. Hahaha! I was out the door soon. Very awkward.
