(7,597 posts)1. AS a Texan I can tell you our State Government is totally corrupt but
obviously they know what most voters in Texas like. It is quite frustrating to know your vote doesn't count at the district level - there is a little more hope at the State level but Texas has not had a Democrat elected to Statewide office since 1994.
