BBC research has cast doubt on the timing of the positive Covid test Novak Djokovic used to enter Australia to try to compete in the Australian Open. It was provided to exempt him from rules barring unvaccinated people.

However, the serial number on his test on 16 December appears out of sequence with a sample of tests from Serbia over this period gathered by the BBC. It is also higher than for his second (negative) test result from six days later.

His visa application was ultimately rejected, but not on these grounds.

He may very well be a narcissist, but not because he is Serbian.

Stereotypes, especially negative ones, just take human behaviors that EVERY SINGLE PERSON is capable of, and attribute them to a whole group.

I had a relative who thought that everyone had ulterior motives and was selfish. Other family members thought, "wow, they are really good at detecting bad people" Well, when you think everyone is bad, you are bound to detect between 10% of the population that is diagnostically messed up, hence bad, and the rest of us who at times do bad things. It is an odds thing AND people are more likely to remember the BAD people who caused problems than the decent ones who just come in and out of our lives without making too much of a mark.

Stereotypes say much more about those who hold them than those who are marked by them.
