Now for some light-hearted fun. What’s the one “conspiracy theory” that no matter what anyone says you believe is true. Mine is that the moon landing in 1969 was completely faked.
Just nothing about it makes sense. Especially NASA “accidentally erasing” the original footage.

1. One thing I sometimes wonder about loons like this...

It seems that some of them are able to hold onto some kind of mainstream credibility while they peddle talking points and arguments that serve the purposes of whomever has the goods on them.

For example, take Tucker Carlson. He seems to be getting nuttier by significant degrees all of the time.

So, sometimes I wonder.... If I had been compromised in some way that someone could exert influence over me to push a particular brand of nonsense, and whatever leverage they have is such that I really don't want to spill the beans, what else could I do?

One thing I could do is to simply sabotage my own credibility by going so far down a loony rabbit hole that I lose all influence.

But then I wake up and realize that once someone has their fans, there are utterly no limits on the shit those people will believe. Take Alex Jones, for instance. Is there one shred of cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs that man does not at least pretend to believe?

Reality is just not all its cracked up to be for some folks.
