Full stop. It's rare that you see stupidity of THIS magnitude.

http://news.yahoo.com/ap-poll-romney-erases-obama-advantage-among-women-071129692--election.html

Ginny Lewis, a Democrat and 72-year-old retired district attorney from Princeton, Ky., says she'll vote for Romney because "I'm tired of the Republicans blaming all the debt on Democrats, so let them take over and see what they do."

Methinks that her demographics indicate a slightly DIFFERENT reason why she likely won't vote for Obama. Sorry to paint with such a broad brush, but older folks and people from Kentucky tend to have been raised to be racists. It's a generational thing.

They've thrown their hands in the air about how to convince the nation that republicans are destructive to the country. They think this may be the only way to prove it, to let it happen. (I understand their frustration, but obviously don't agree with them.)

Like we didn't already live through Vietnam where leaders prolonged that mess because nobody wanted to admit they were wrong or look weak infront of peacenics.

Or that Republicans can't come up with thousands of ways to conscript the children of Democrats and find loopholes for their own.

Also the draft gave those leaders an unlimited manpower pool. Handy when prolonging a war.

Bush TWO full terms of putting his policies in place .... Ok, the policies of the people really running the show....and now that OBama has not been able to clean up the mess in slightly less than 4 years, they are ready to blame him and move back to the same shit that got us in trouble in the first place. Mind boggling. He is supposed to fix in 4 years what it took Bush to do in 8? And he was supposed to do it with a House of Representatives dead set on making him a one term President by blunting and blocking anything he proposed. Tie one arm behind his back and still expect him to take on the fight.

Has anyone reminded people of this fact? Whenever we bring up THAT subject, we're criticized for blaming Bush. Well, damn it, if the truth hurts, too bad. I think the President did an amazing job considering where things were when he started and when he only had the help of less than half of Congress.

In only this line of reasoning can reasonable people disagree. I think they'll keep shooting hostages regardless because they find it fulfilling, but YMMV.
