I was told I was reinstated by third-party administrators, but I'm not. My reps are pukes, and probably laugh at me.

I called healthcare dot gov.

"Regardless of the outcome, the eligibility age for Medicare won’t change overnight. Lowering the eligibility age is no longer part of the U.S. Government’s budget for Fiscal Year 2022. So, the Medicare eligibility age will not see a reduction anytime in the next year."

So, even if the Senate puts it on the floor as its own bill and somehow they get 10 rethugs to not kill it at cloture, it will be 2023 before any change happens.

Plans are probably available with lower deductible that cost less than the $750/month you’re paying.

I found out not being able to afford cobra means you can do it. I thought you weren't qualified if you are eligible for cobra

So there should be plans with more expansive coverage. Hopefully they can help you through the process, but I just have to feel there is a better deal out there than COBRA, thanks to the ACA.

Unless your income level is really high you can get a ton of coverage thru the aca for $750/ month

There are gold plans with lower deductibles

Good luck 🍀
