A lack of willingness to fight and risk our lives will doom us all to dictatorships

Most don't want to fight a war with Russia to save Ukraine, but who will Putin go after next? Georgia? Another former Soviet Republic? Finland. They are not in NATO either, so apparently we can all sit back and let the Putin win again. And Biden and the Democrats will be labeled by the MSM and Republicans as appeasers for letting it happen.

Meanwhile, it seems we can't even agree to cut Russia off from SWIFT because of economic impact on us and especially Europe. Has it occurred to the Europeans how much money it's going to cost to maintain large armies in order to protect them from a stronger and emboldened Russia? Furthermore, the right-wing fascists in our country and the west are being emboldened because they see that we are not willing to fight to save Democracy.

I do not understand why US and EU allies have not imposed real sanctions that can be done overnight affecting ALL banks in russia, all foreign transactions, have US and EU corporations immediately suspend all operations in russia - microsoft, visa and mastercard as priority. The ONLY way to stop putin is have millions of russians rebel against the regime. It’s painful in the short term but they will be grateful to us long term.

That no other nation, no other people are willing to stand up and help another nation in a time like this. Imagine being truly alone in the world, regardless of who’s to blame, knowing that unless the ukraines as a people fight like Afghanistan, their country will fall. Their rights, freedoms will be reversed by decades.

so nothing is off the table after that. No, we do not want WWIII. Geez, US can’t even impose real sanctions.

So we just let Russia take all non NATO countries? You need to stand up to bullies or they just keep taking more.

But my first order of business would be two bring several armored brigades, maybe even a division, back into Germany. We had about 5k tanks in Europe at the end of the Cold War. Putting them in Poland is probably too provocative and would likely escalate things, even though their defense ministry requested we do that several years ago. But right now, beefing up tanks and aircraft in the region would be the play, in case he were to turn his sights toward one of the Baltic NATO states.

over 8 years ago now, tore off and kept a big chunk, and has been IN Ukraine making continued military war in the east end and political war over the whole nation ever since. The invasion Russia's been threatening for much longer than that is a not-unpredictable event further down the road taken and not a huge new surprise.

I guess it should instead surprise me that we're not all dictatorships years ago as a result of Ukraine's invasion. But it doesn't. Our date of national disaster and infamy was November 8, 2016, and we've been at war for our nation's and our future ever since.

THE 2022 ELECTORAL BATTLE IS RAGING NOW.
