It's very rare for a whole unit to be "wiped out" in a war, especially not by naval bombardment, supposing the Russians even fired at all. The sole evidence that they'd "all been killed" was that they didn't answer queries.

This one was a gimme, really.

First heard this news of the Massacre on Snake Island on Twitter…first was outraged…then considering the source, did the usual….wait for the real news to catch up and douse the pants on fire.

Wait a couple days for actual news, it makes a real difference on my mental health to turn off the Outrage Button.

Wait about 3 days to start getting some accuracy.

Then we have to wait more to get a full story.
