3. Reminds me of a story of a wounded Waffen SS trooper during the battle for Normandy.
He was captured and being treated in an Allied military hospital. He refused a blood transfusion unless the doctor could assure him that the transfusion would not contain any Jewish blood. The Doctor told him that we did not segregate blood by the donor's religion, the Nazi refused the blood and the doctor moved on to the next patient. The next day he went through the transition from being a bad Nazi to a good Nazi and they buried him.
