Lawsuit Says Armed Pro-Trump Canvassers Are Going Door-To-Door With Big Lie 'Intimidation'

Frightening! Fascism at work.

Civil rights groups have filed a lawsuit against political canvassers, some of them armed, who pounded on voters’ doors in Colorado with questions about what they claimed was a rigged presidential election.

Interrogating residents about baseless claims of election fraud and photographing their homes amounted to a “voter intimidation campaign” in violation of the post-Civil War Ku Klux Klan Act, alleges the suit filed in U.S District Court in Colorado by the NAACP, the Colorado League of Women Voters of Colorado and Mi Familia Vota.

The suit accuses the U.S. Election Integrity Plan, which organized the canvassers, and three of its leaders of violating the Voting Rights Act through “intimidating, threatening and coercive conduct,” often in neighborhoods with a high number of people of color. It asks the court to declare the canvassing intimidation and harassment, and to order it stopped.

The canvassers often display badges, the lawsuit says, and are encouraged to carry weapons. They confront voters “for allegedly casting fraudulent ballots” and take photos of people’s homes, according to the suit.
The group uses such tactics across Colorado and in several other states, the suit says. It was founded by supporters of former President Donald Trump after he lost the 2020 election and began spreading his widely debunked lies about election fraud. Funders, according to the suit, include MyPillow guy Mike Lindell, a prominent promoter of Trump’s bogus claims.

a dangerous fascist criminal who threatens and intends to harm us, and we will call the police immediately.

DOJ could have, should have, stopped the Cyber Ninjas, but it didn't.

DOJ has the authority to stop these door to door thugs also, if they choose to.

GET LOST! We don't owe you ANY explanation or verification of our right to vote or who we voted for.

Asshats.

Shut the U.S. Election Integrity Plan DOWN. Shine a light on these cockroaches.

Life is getting so nasty in the USA that I predict that door security cameras are going to see a rise in sales.

I’d bet a days pay they are staying away from upper middle class, mostly white areas and concentrating on middle and lower middle class areas.

Everyone is predicting a blowout GOP win, but I think that's not set in stone and the Dems are starting to hold their own. I also think redistricting was a net gain for Dems. And a ton of reliable Republican voters got killed off because they refused to get vaccinated. Plus, Ukraine is politically good for the Dems and terrible for the Republicans. And inflation is going to get better and not be a huge story by the end of the Summer.

If Dems hold the Senate and the House in November, expect Republicans to totally lose their minds way more than they already have. They're going to cry foul and try for more 1/6 insurrections.

they are doing this for a purpose, to sow doubt about the integrity of our upcoming election. If the GQP candidate wins, the election was fair and honest, if a Democrat wins and the election officials are Magats, they will find cause to overturn the results.

You can count on there being turmoil in the 2022 election since DOJ did nothing to stop the fraudits, did nothing to stop the door to door thugs who are intimidating voters. I hope to hell I am wrong but the GQP has replaced a lot of honest election officials and replaced them with Magats. Democrats better be ready to file law suits, appeals, or whatever it takes to prevent rigged elections.

Here we go:

Me: you represent the county?

Them: yeah, as volunteers

Me: So, county officials have given you guidance about your survey?

Them: well... uh.....

Me: Because, if the county has trained you, then you'd know that I don't have to tell you who I voted for--even if you're a county official or represent the county in any capacity.

Them: Uh, well... we're just trying to verify election results. We have to guard against fraud.

Me: How can you be sure as you do this survey that people are being honest with you? You show up with a gun, someone might tell you what they think you want to hear just to get you off the property?

Them: Mmmm.... well, we have to try....

Me: My voter registration or lack thereof is on record with the Town Clerk's office and is public information. The party I'm registered with--or lack thereof--is public information. Whether I voted or not is public information. You don't need me to answer those questions, because the answers are on file with the Town Clerk. You would know all of this if you were acting on behalf of the county/town. You'd also know that a free and fair election guarantees me the right to refuse to confirm who or what I voted for.

If you have some reason to believe that I have broken the law, go get a subpoena to compel me to answer your questions. Otherwise, you're not welcome here and I'd really like you to leave.
