TFG brags about a hole in one because "many people are asking"

I expected the intro: the bespoke logo touting that it came from “The Office of Donald J. Trump” with a simplified version of the presidential seal in the middle. And I expected the title, since it’s always the same title: “Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America.”

And then poetry.

“Many people are asking, so I’ll give it to you now, it is 100% true,” the message began. “While playing with the legendary golfer, Ernie Els, winner of four Majors and approximately 72 other tournaments throughout the world, Gene Sauers, winner of the Senior U.S. Open, Ken Duke, and Mike Goodes, both excellent tour players, I made a hole-in-one.”

That’s what the message is about. Trump’s hole-in-one.

----------------

He continued.

“It took place at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, on the 7th hole, which was playing 181-yards into a slight wind,” Trump said — before quickly upgrading the wind he faced. “I hit a 5-iron, which sailed magnificently into a rather strong wind, with approximately 5 feet of cut, whereupon it bounced twice and then went clank, into the hole. These great tour players noticed it before I did because their eyes are slightly better, but on that one hole only, their swings weren’t.”

“Anyway, there’s a lot of chatter about it, quite exciting, and people everywhere seem to be asking for the facts,” Trump’s statement continued. “Playing with that group of wonderful, talented players was a lot of fun. The match was Ernie and me (with no strokes) against Gene, Mike, and Ken. I won’t tell you who won because I am a very modest individual, and you will then say I was bragging—and I don’t like people who brag!”

#45's plans to be resurrected on the political stage.

and

finally, #45 himself.

Why anyone still pays attention to this unsuccessful has-been is beyond me.

But #45 has left two great legacies.

He has shown voting is important.
He has shown the title doesn't maketh the man.

.

My dad play a little over a hundred rounds and got a couple hole-in-ones.

My one BIL plays every weekend and got quite a few, often on one of Trump's courses.

Heck, the guy I bought my house from got a bunch and even won a car doing it in one tournament.

Really drives home how Trump cheats at EVERYTHING. No issue too big, no issue too small.

It has been widely reported that Trump cheats at golf. In 2019, the golf writer Rick Reilly published a book, Commander in Cheat: How Golf Explains Trump.

As well as reporting routine rule violations, with sources including the PGA Tour pro Brad Faxon and the actor Samuel L Jackson, Reilly wrote about Trump’s habit of claiming dubious feats.

“Donald’s Trump’s boast about winning 18 club championships,” Reilly wrote, “is a lie that’s so over-the-top Crazytown it loses all credibility among golfers the second it’s out of his mouth.”

Reilly also wrote that Trump International in West Palm Beach, Florida, now the site of Trump’s claimed hole-in-one, “has a plaque on the wall that lists all the men who’ve won the men’s club championship. Trump appears three times: 1999, 2001, and 2009. But hold on. The course wasn’t even open in 1999.”

Reilly also examined Trump’s claim to have a handicap of 2.8. The man generally considered the greatest golfer of all time, Jack Nicklaus, plays off 3.4. In Reilly’s words: “If Trump is a 2.8, Queen Elizabeth is a pole vaulter.”

"People everywhere seem to be asking for the facts"??? Who are these "many" people? The voices in his demented brain?

With all the things going on in the world today, NOBODY is talking about Trump's golf game. He can't stand not being the center of attention all the time.

He may have lucked into an ace, but he didn't hit a 5 iron 181 yards into the wind.
At no point in his lying life, with that swing, did he hit a 5 iron that far.
Lots of golfers lucked into an ace, so he proba9did get one.
How he did it is a lie.
There has to be a lie in there somewhere. Lying is what he does.
