ability to pack the SC and make it part of the Republikkkan party's war on Americans will kill us all. Roe v Wade, Civil and Voting Rights out the window. A backlash against the first African American POTUS has shown the world that racist whites and their lackeys are still trying to put all left-leaning Americans, African-Americans specifically, "back in their place". No surprise an openly racist fascist was elected right after President Obama. No surprise at all.

President Biden I'm sure is trying to repair the damage to our democracy. Yet I just lose hope that the fascists can be put back into the sewers and fetid, putrid swamps from whence they came. I just tell myself, just vote. We still can make a difference there, so far.

We NEED voting protections. Without them, the GOP picks their own people to screw up the country. Our votes will not count. The motherfuckers will manufacture any reason at all to throw them out.

Do you trust THIS SCOTUS to tamp down their extreme voter disenfranchisement schemes? Yeah, right.

the repthug 3 houses down hears me at summer functions. Tries to appear civil to me, but hates me...I luv it. And I did and will challenge his trump BS and upcoming election year repthug-comrade Carlson BS whenever it spews from his sewer mouth. Just keep fighting even if hope is lost, it can be found again I tell myself. And my immediate neighbours are on our side...

and just like them, protest loudly. Someone here said to take the non-violent unless attacked, protests to the streets. Let them know we do not go down without a fight. I'm so tired of their lies, cheating, just running roughshod over our rights. This is still our democracy. Flaws and all.

how can this be considered "settled law"? If there's other cases in the pipeline won't they be heard??

Any decision made under the Shadow docket should be viewed as illegitimate and states should ignore it.

There has to be an uprising over the court's unwillingness to act in its intended manner for the good of We the People!

That has to happen NOW. They will kill the country if we don't.

Are there rules? Can they just do what McConnell does, and ignore them?

If so Democtrats must emphasize via a major talking point strategy that rules are rules and laws are laws. Rule & law breakers in the federal government must be held accountable. Starting with the Supreme Court which has always been a rallying cry at election time for conservatives.

Otherwise we need to prepare for living in a completly lawless banana republic with mega crooks in charge.
