12. It is. And that's another reason why it's good the storm is speeding up.

Slow-moving storms can drop a shitload of rain. As big as this one is, the sooner it goes by, the better.

6. if my power stays on in North(west of NY) Jersey, I shall let you know if this is good news

 

or if it just means we all lose power two hours early

but an earlier arrival will mean less tidal surge for the coastal areas which would help alleviate the sheer amount of water on the coasts
