A friend of mine ridiculed me throughout the 2015-16 primary season that Trump would never get the nom, & then when he did, that he would never win. When he did, her words were, "It's just four years. We'll vote him out. No big deal"

The way I understand it, the White House Historical Association maintains a relationship with a nursery somewhere in the DC area so they always have a ready supply of plants.
The White House has a staff of 13 Groundskeepers.
