Real Time with Bill Maher guests - Friday, May 20, 2022

Real Time with Bill Maher continues its 20th season Friday, May 20 (10:00-11:00 p.m. live ET/tape-delayed PT), with a replay at 11:30 p.m., exclusively on HBO.

This week features a one-on-one interview with Dr. Mark T. Esper, former Secretary of Defense under Trump and author of A Sacred Oath: Memoirs of a Secretary of Defense During Extraordinary Times.

This week's in-studio panel discussion will include Donna Brazile, veteran Democratic political strategist, author, professor, ABC News contributor and Op-Ed columnist for USA Today. Her latest book is Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-ins and Breakdowns That Put Donald Trump in the White House; and Adam Carolla, comedian and host of the podcast, The Adam Carolla Show and New York Times bestselling author of the forthcoming book, Everything Reminds Me of Something: Advice, Answers… But No Apologies.

1. I don't think Esper can add anything to his other appearances

and let's hope that Brazile is sober this time.

I am not familiar with Corolla so should be interesting.

Thanks for keeping up with this.

Esper said what he had to say on with Stephen Colbert and I did remember that Donna Brazile was weird the last time she was on, so that explains it. I'm not familiar with Corolla, either, but if he's a comedian, we sure could use a few laughs these days...

No wonder we weren't familiar with him. But then he just said he grew up in a "progressive" family and is still progressive on "social issues."

social issues. And California does pose many hurdles and regulations to do business. Remember Maher's attempts to add a solar energy to his home?

And I did laugh at the UltraMAGA condoms. May not be popular on theses pages.

Comes in the following sizes: XL, L, M and DonJr.

Also, make your penis great again.

6. You're right, I do remember that, he complained about the problems he was having for ages

And I think my Dad was also like that, his Dad died when he was 12 so he was very careful with finances, started saving to send me to college as soon as I was born. But he was concerned about the environment and pushed me much harder than he did my brother because I was the first born. And he counted both Democrats and Republicans among his friends, our Republican congressman and Democratic mayor.

And I laughed at Bill's "funny bit," too - especially the "Don Jr." line!

8. I thought it was a decent show, especially when Bill pressed Esper on his future vote...

Even Stephen Colbert didn't press him on that...
