(205,237 posts)Esper said what he had to say on with Stephen Colbert and I did remember that Donna Brazile was weird the last time she was on, so that explains it. I'm not familiar with Corolla, either, but if he's a comedian, we sure could use a few laughs these days...

(205,237 posts)And I think my Dad was also like that, his Dad died when he was 12 so he was very careful with finances, started saving to send me to college as soon as I was born. But he was concerned about the environment and pushed me much harder than he did my brother because I was the first born. And he counted both Democrats and Republicans among his friends, our Republican congressman and Democratic mayor.
And I laughed at Bill's "funny bit," too - especially the "Don Jr." line!
