According to Vice reporter

The police are the ones that barricaded the gunman in the classroom the students were in. Then waited until a SWAT team to arrive. The gunman was reported to have been in the school for more than an hour.
A border agent arrived and went in and confronted the murderer. The border agent was shot but managed to kill the mass murderer.

I don’t think we are going to hear the truth from the police. We will find out from journalists.

We have had decades of school shooters.

You would think the cops had some basic training in procedure.
