1) Claim falsely that Dems only want total confiscation
2) Claim every proposed measure takes away their rights
3) Claim again that Dems only want total confiscation
4) Threaten that if Dems want to confiscate all the guns, go ahead and try it.
Meanwhile the next mass shooter is easily getting a gun.

Claim the shooter broke the law by murdering people; a law wouldn't have stopped him from getting guns.

It's always too early to discuss.

(7,591 posts)I had my way I would include handguns. There are also simple things like raising the gun age to 21, more strenuous background checks, no more gun fairs (or whatever you call them) and pass red flag laws.
Time to stop making excuses and do something about this insanity.
