white wing/christofash laws. I fully support that potential defiance if the situation truly warrants it.
I cannot see States like California, NY, or MA, etc etc, going under the RW cosh, choosing to submit, and then outlawing all or almost all abortions, or outlawing contraceptives, or dismantling vast chunks of their gun control schemes.
And the minute Blue States start to defy, Red States may well defy laws THEY do not agree with.
The chaos vortex speeds up.
evidence we may well be headed in that direction:

(16,699 posts)That is because at age 18, boys must by law, register for the Selective Service. Which also means able bodied males can be called up for service in the Armed Forces should there be a need for massive infusion of recruits needed for a large scaled war.

The Supreme Court can do whatever a majority decide to do. They can interpret any text in the constitution any way they choose. The only constraint on the court is impeachment.

(4,104 posts)Were talking about the minority forcing their views and laws on the majority. This cannot stand for long. Add to that how Trump and the Republicans have destroyed respect for long standing government institutions. I believe that within the next few years, America will become functionally ungovernable.
