I’ve counted ballots. I’ve observed elections. I have checked people in and I would gladly do it again I’m just effing pissed. Our state is all mail in so the only observers we have are one person from each party watching the ballots run through the machine. I did that once as well.

at the very least, they'll need to triple or quadruple the pay.
and pass laws to protect them. and make sure any asshole who thinks they can fuck around finds out when the fbi is at their door by the end of the day.

that's as much as i could manage, even tho i did love it.
i worked the '08 election in chi, and it was just joy all day except for the people who werent eligible to vote.
