Maybe it's just me

But I feel like if Liz Cheney wants democrats to vote for her in a primary, giving up their right to support a democratic candidate, she ought to throw them a bone. Not just “well I’m against tRump, but acknowledge that she has seen the light and will reject the republican bullshite. If she is unwilling to come to Jebus and recognize that her party is crap, why should a democrat cross over and support her. I grew up in Wyo, so I totally realize that no democrat would ever be elected there, but she ought to acknowledge that it’s not just tRump that is a problem. It’s her whole toxic, fascist party. She ought to leave the party and their shitty policy choices.

I know, ain’t gonna happen, but she has surprised us before.

I do appreciate that she has stood strong for her oath and the rule of law in this instance. Just hard to forget that she voted with tRump policy 97% of the time. Would just really like her to renounce more than tRump insurrection. It’s a big ask, I know.

If I still lived in WY, I would probably vote for her in the primary, just to keep the crazy at bay.

A) a democrat will not get elected there.
B) we could get a much more bat shit crazy person there.
C) it will drive republicans nuts having her in their ranks.

She is being honest, courageous, and fighting dragons.

I have to admit it and I don't even like her.

How can such goodness come from someone who is the spawn of pure evil on earth, and most likely as evil as her father?

At first I thought she was just doing all of this as a political stunt in her quest for the WH.

But then when her party turned against her and hopes were dashed, she still continued her fight against Trump et al.

All of it is turning into a Shakespearian play: power, ambition, betrayal, jealousy, fear, revenge, existentialism, history, duty, morality, tragedy.

18. I think I can say "I like her" for now at least. But I know where she stands politically

and she is a very conservative republican. It's stupid to think she will become a Democrat.

But looking at reality it's either her or a trump supporting Republican in that district. I would support her in this type of situation.

But if a Democrat had a small but realistic chance of winning I would not support her.

If I lived in Wyoming, God help me, I would vote for her in the primary.
First time voting for a Republican. Thank God I don't live in Wyoming.
My father would come back to haunt me.

I believe he's considering voting for Cheney in the primary to get her to beat Harriet Hageman who is endorsed by Trump.

I watched this sickening rally when it happened:

13. Democrats have no chance in that district. It's either her or someone that supports Trump.

I would support her if I were in that tour if district.

And she is a very conservative Republican. Hating Trump doesn't make her a liberal or even a moderate republican.

Her actual views on policy issues have not changed.
