My God women how do you live with yourself. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/marjorie-taylor-greene-says-children-should-be-trained-with-firearms-to-ward-off-a-mad-man-with-a-gun-in-schools/ar-AAYRj4M?li=BBnb7Kz

She understands that training isn't enough, right? They would actually have to carry - and use - the firearms.
I usually think that whackjobs like Majorie are just playing a role and that the idiocy is intentional. With her, I'm not so sure.

(1,779 posts)more hyperbole for the media. She's a moron.
I fully agree that for safety purposes, young children should be familiarized with firearms, especially if they are going to be present in the home. But her statement is complete and utter bullshit and she knows it.
School age children are incapable of defending themselves against a gunman with this knowledge.
How much more stupid can she possibly get? It seems to be an effort to get a negative reaction or something, who knows with these people. It appears people like her just want to be bombastic and stir up trouble.

(25,816 posts)I had a holster and a red cowboy hat too! When I got older, I would just hit a roll of caps with
a hammer to blow them all up at once. No gun needed. I'm now 71 and still don't own a firearm,
despite living ten miles from Mexico (where all the "bad hombres" live). Most of the bad men
around here are punk-ass white boy tweekers.
