Did it ever occur to the folks that want to ban abortion to increase the white population, that there will be many men that dont want to participate in their breeding factories?
Ive read several articles that state more men have requested vasectomies since the the SC leak. Google search for the word vasectomy has gone up by 250%.
I am also going to bet that there will finally be a male birth control pill. Leave it to big Pharma to capitalize.

Snipping a man is easier then a non pregnant once woman getting a tubal ligation.

Reddit is maintaining a Childfree Friendly Doctors list by state. Very informative. Hope this helps!

(53,743 posts)More POC babies will be born too, and POCs tend to have more babies, meaning a net loss in the white baby population.
Oh, well.

(141 posts)It is arguable, after all, that if the government can force a pregnant person to carry to term, it can turn around and force abortion on others.
And sterilization.
Keep working to keep power and prosperity out of the hands of POC, throw more and more POC people with miscarriages that can be possibly be claimed to be abortions into jail...
Keep devolving the moral sense of the country. And if the current travesty of SCOTUS tears down LBTQ rights, then goes after POC and more women's rights...

(45,380 posts)so they would get more non-conservatives having babies. So they're going to get more babies of the types they don't want: POC and white liberals and red state nonpolitical types.
They might not like what happens as these babies become old enough to vote.

(8,961 posts)Poor people will not. Because of that I cant help but think the abortion ban will affect POC more than whites.
So whites will continue to have abortions and POC will be forced to give birth. Yes, this is a broad generalization, but still
.
How does this translate into more white babies? I dont get it.

impregnated by teenage boys. Giving up their firstborn was fueled by parental wrath and social pressure and social shame. Lots and lots of shame.
Those boys were not likely to be getting a vasectomy in high school or college. However, given that part of our return to the good old days is that contraceptives are soon going to be unavailable as well, its going to go hard on them.
Given the language that made it into Dobbs (I have not heard the term out of wedlock in decades and what the hell is that about the domestic supply of babies available for adoption?) I think the fanatics on SCOTUS can hardly wait for the good old days to return.

Yeah, the good ole days. I bet they think this will bring back living wages for blue collar jobs, these people are just delusional.

Our middle has one daughter and they are on the fence about having another. We jive in Virginia and the governor is chomping at the bit to restrict abortion. Our son-in-law told our daughter that hes afraid if she gets pregnant and somehing goes wrong that he might lose her if she cant get care.
Our youngest and her husband have no children yet and have the same fears.

(1,667 posts)The number of reasons for a woman to have those procedures is relatively large. And let's be completely upfront, if a woman has a miscarriage there is always a chance that some of the placenta will stay in the uterus and become septic. Without performing a procedure that has all the same actions as an abortion an increased number of women will die of miscarriages.
This is a ruling that is not driven by reason, or compassion.
