Many people, including elected officials and election officials,

are receiving threats of violence against themselves and their families from right wing domestic terrorists, and are resigning their positions because of this.

Is the DOJ investigating these threats? If not, why not?

It is my understanding that threats of this nature are felonies. Yet there seems to be no law enforcement investigations directed at finding the perpetrators of these threats whatsoever.

What's going on? Does the DOJ need to hire more cyber crime investigators to root out these fascist criminals? Are these threats the responsibility of individual state agencies to address? If so, fascists in red state law enforcement agencies will not investigate their fascist cohorts who make these threats. So maybe the DOJ needs to investigate these state agencies to find out why they are allowing these threats to continue with impunity, if that is the province of the DOJ.

I don't understand. Anyone know why fascist domestic terrorists are freely allowed to make threats of violence against American citizens with total impunity?

about 5 months ago where he was explaining how DOJ was setting up a task force to combat school board member, election worker violence and intimidation. Every Republican on that committee repeated the same thing that Garland was infringing on freedom of speech. By the end of the Senate hearing I was yelling at the screen, Garland all but apologized and let it be known that DOJ would only work with local law enforcement to prevent violence against these people.

I watched the hearing and that was my take.
