I need the help of constitutional lawyers or those who can make more sense...

of the constitution than I can.

Is there ANYWHERE in the constitution or its amendments that grants or authorizes the people of the US to launch or explode devices that look or sound like the results of a war zone?

If you can answer, please site the phrase of the constitution or amendment that allows it.

Thanks in advance, and sorry for my ignorance.

“That which is not expressly prohibited is implicitly allowed.”

But I understand your frustration. I hate fireworks.

Not everything is in the constitution:
Parking and towing, speeding tickets, code compliance, drugs....the list goes on....

We all agree with that, as long as the judicial branch is capable of interpreting the document correctly and applying it to the realities of the present day.

… doesn’t mean a personal right to peace and quiet without noisy disturbances (runways, traffic, fireworks, neighbor’s kids’ music).

They were forming a union between independent states. Domestic tranquillity meant keeping those states from fighting with each other.

Just as “common defense” meant that they would defend each other (states) - not a standing single army

that it never mentions guns or firearms. There seem to be more laws regulating other arms like knifes and swords than guns.
