Anyone notice that the next WH staffer to testify next week is also a pretty good looking woman?

I just saw a pic of the deputy press secretary Sarah Matthews. She like Cassidy must have gone through a Trumpian sneaking-into-the-women's-dressing-room review before she got a thumbs up.

I imagine Malaria walking through the offices on the way to her husband's Oval Office getting really pissed at the bevy of beauties he hired. No wonder she regularly pushed his tiny, greasy little hand away so, so often!

Thoughts?

Like they weren't even there. Learned this from senior Board level secretaries long ago that these trusted employees heard far more confidential stuff than their bosses ever knew....since they were the blabbermouths! Some of these outstanding women even were secret conduits to us division directors, managers or staffers about controversial stuff the Board members were thinking about.

the immediate professional sacrifices, exile from social circles, heartache and humiliation, etc, are devastating. And the older ones have had more years to become hardened and resigned to their corruption, in addition to losing "everything."

They all get to write tell-all books and earn income from speaking engagements, but the books haven't been selling well and probably apostate speakers aren't in high demand either. Glutted AND depressed market.

It's all about perception over everything else. We're not saying they're not qualified, but you know that when hired those in charge were looking for those the most attractive because that's what the boss wanted around the white house.

Point is, while I do not question the skills nor integrity of these bold women, just the fact that TFG held informal beauty contests for these positions while equally qualified but less good looking candidates were tossed to the curb is sickening, just like all of his decisions.

I think we can all agree on this, and no one here should be shamed about pointing this out.
The criteria for hiring men in Trump world is even more unseemly. In fact it's outright disgusting. It's based on how cravenly you fawn over Trump. You need practically no other qualification.

than care about their looks

Sarah Sanders wasn't attractive with make-up and her soul was even more sour in my opinion

McEnemy was a done up doll. Make-up does wonders - but looks with or without make-up don't make a person desirable or less so.

Society has placed a bigger emphasis on looks than ever. From local newscasters, to hospitality jobs, to musicians, looks is trumping talent too often.

And the Trump White House is a great example of that. Trump values looks over ability and character, almost every time.

When I watch the local news, it's uncanny, the FOX affiliate is just filled with young striking women, who can barely read the news half the time. It's comical how bad they are at reading their teleprompters at times. The NBC affiliate is full of older and more seasoned news people who just know what they're doing and sound professional. You can guess which one gets better ratings.

I travel for work, and hospitality jobs now are based on looks it seems. Any decent hotel has extremely attractive people working the front desks.

And the music industry is now just mostly models that the record companies have assembled into bands they can brand and market effectively.

Sure, some people have it all, looks and talent, but it's way slanted towards the looks department right now.
