Another potential messaging disaster

So , the democratic party messaging is vote to give us two more senators and we will codify roe and also possibly pass voting rights law.

This is only one but the necessary steps. If we don't keep the house we won't be able to deliver even with 52 senators. All bills passed by the house are dead if they aren't passed by the senate in the same congress.

After November we will have to pass those bills again in the house and then the senate.

I can see a scenario where we do get the senate but not the house and can't deliver. This will backfire and voters who don't follow the process on how laws get passed will blame democrats again for not delivering.

The message should be give us more senators and vote for the house as well.

Since there are fewer Senators than Representatives, we have to work harder to get a majority there. We could lose a House race and not lose our majority but if we lose a Senate race, we're still as fucked as we are today, maybe even more.

We don't want to lose any Representatives, either, but it's easy to see why the hill is harder to climb for the Senate, so people are working really hard on the toughest races. That's why you see more urgency there.

The party’s messaging so far has been sweeping under the rug the very strong likelihood the House falls to Republicans. Without it, we have nothing; but campaigning to save the House is much more difficult.

We will need a massive turnout of women and pro-choice men voting straight Dem tickets to accomplish that.

They spew hate and divisiveness. People are sick of their shit. The next election will have the J6 revelations and the Roe ramifications out front and center. This is going to cause massive turnout despite voter suppression efforts. 60 Dem senate seats? Check in October.

Republicans have no governing policies and spew nothing but hatred, envy and divisiveness 24-7. But only Democrats have messaging disasters, apparently.
