Republicans are creating a transgender registry in Florida

This is where the "Don't Say Gay" and all of the anti-transgender athlete, anti-trans health care and anti-trans student laws in Republican controlled states are leading. Florida simply got there first.

As part of outing transgender students to every family in their school, their town and really, the internet too, the Lee County School District in Florida has decided to create a registry of trans students so they can "better keep all families informed".

This is terrifying. This is how they start, by introducing such things as "protecting all our families" as if trans kids are a threat to anyone. If there is not pushback, it will expand to other schools where they've intentionally taken over the district or school boards. And once they get away with that they'll expand it further. This has the scent of the early 1930's, without any hyperbole.

And to make it worse, what Republicans are really doing is talking about a minor's genitals to the entire school district. It's disgusting, cruel and abusive. It's also very creepy.

The claim that registering guns is the first step to confiscation and destruction of firearms.

Goddamn Republicans just can't stay out of other people's business.

7. Registry? Or a hit list?

Judging by the behavior of Florida terrorists like DeSatan and Alisabeth Janai Lancaster, I'm more inclined to believe it's the latter. A convenient list to know who to target for being locked up (either in jail or a mental hospital) or even who to harm and kill.

I have believed for some time now that these red states want nothing less than the elimination of the entire trans community. They have declared war upon us, and want us destroyed.

I wish I could punch each and every one of these "protecting our families" fuckers in the face. I mean it. I'm beyond tired of it and I'm beyond tired of them. Do these fuckos even get that trans people have families too? What about our families? This to go along with the fact that we are not a threat to them, their family, or anyone else.

This is beyond disgusting. Each day, the threats get more serious. I have zero doubt this list is going to lead to targeting and serious harm. And that is very much the entire point of all of this.

So Florida won't put together a list of gun owners or a registry list, but we're gonna put together a list of trans people? Seriously?

And people are shocked when I say I am far less scared of terrorists in the Middle East than I am Republiqans? At least the Middle East is halfway around the world...

So, they want to know what the parents plan will be if the child on their registry is outed (which, you know is what the registry will do)? Well, if they can't vote every. last. Repub. out. of. office., then they'll have to move out of state. And, I guess that's what the Repubs will be happy with.

For those of us that are not children, stop doing business with the state of Florida. They don't have the nerve to ask gay people to wear pink triangles, which is what they would really like to do. So instead, they have come up with this as a first shot, kind of modeling and tinkering with what might fly. So be it. You don't want us? We don't want YOU.

And, it's not just transgender. It's the entire spectrum. Count on it.

12. The Goal of Wholesale Surveillance
Thu Jul 21, 2022, 04:06 PM

The goal of wholesale surveillance, as (Hannah) Arendt wrote in “The Origins of Totalitarianism,” is not, in the end, to discover crimes, “but to be on hand when the government decides to arrest a certain category of the population.” And because Americans’ emails, phone conversations, Web searches and geographical movements are recorded and stored in perpetuity in government databases, there will be more than enough “evidence” to seize us should the state deem it necessary. This information waits like a deadly virus inside government vaults to be turned against us. It does not matter how trivial or innocent that information is. In totalitarian states, justice, like truth, is irrelevant.

The trans athletes issue wasn't an issue until 2 years ago. Then Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity started talking about it every night. Now it's state policy in Texas, Florida and Ohio. Why? Because those states are controlled by Fox loving conservatives. Fox is controlling policy in these states. They are turning this country into Nazi Germany. It's truly fucking scary what they are doing..Fox should be treated as a hostile terrorist organization, not a news network.

Can there be lawsuits and something to protect these kids?

This isn’t to better inform families or parents. This is to target the minority.
