That presents refugee problems. Not enough food to feed people. Water issues are already showing us a taste of what the lack of that resource means. I watched PBS when they had the stages of climate challenges and how humanity has been warned for so many years but our elected either does not believe it or it costs too much to even try to change our for sure troubles.

"Aged well" and I almost said last year isn't "aged".

Sort of like when people say 50 years ago. My brain is thinking Flappers and prohibition and they mean Disco and Gerald Ford.

It’s kind of shocking to me when I think of how long I’ve lived. I know there are many here who think I’m still young, but I see how quickly the last 50 years have gone by, I tell myself and my friends not to get depressed. It’ll all be over before you know it.

I mean, 1930s, mass exodus of starving farming communities from middle America, not going to happen again, with all our modern technology, right?

Strange how humans take the most essential requirements for life for granted. Water, food, fresh air.
And how little they do to protect those.

At least Las Vegas will make a great set for a disaster movie once all it's citizens move out.

Human history is littered with abandoned centres of once thriving civilizations.
No need to guess why they were abandoned.

by maggots/LDS (= from their church) in SW AZ: yes, the climate is changing but it's not from man's activities.

The fools around here say "it's just seasonal heat, it's always hot in summer."

Can't, won't try to talk with the crazy anymore. If you're so dumb you don't move until the freight train is in your front yard, well, you deserve what happens.

I really think the loony religious nuts from the Supremes on down to every "true believer" have accepted these are the End Times and they won't suffer because they will simply float up to Jesusland. Only me and mine will suffer in the hellfires because we ain't in the cult.

Don't be grounded when the Rapture comes!
