What does equality mean to you? I took a water aerobics class one time. A woman

would roll into the pool area in her wheelchair and slip into the pool. In the same class was a woman who was obviously a ballerina or a serious dancer. It was great. The water eqaulized us all.

I also heard about the paratranspo buses in vancouver, British Columbia. They pick up people in wheelchairs and mountain bikers and deliver them to where they want to go.

I also lived in LaChine, Quebec (part of Montreal now). They were gentrifying the old town and made sure to put in low income housing at the same time as they were building condos.

Yup. We have health care in Canada and we do feel like we are all 'in this together'. applegrove Jan 2012 #2

That follows citizens and is available to all no matter their circumstances, rather than it following jobs or wealth and being only available to the privileged.
