Correlation between the Tea Partiers and Trumps Deplorables

So has anyone noticed the correlation between the TeaBaggers and Trumps Deplorables?

Seems they just traded their names from TeaBaggers to Trumpers.....

They both wanted a revolution.

They are still around!

which of course is a slightly less noxious and more "elitist" brand of conservative stupidity.

"Trumpism" has mainstreamed white supremacy for the republican party, and made the more backwards element more prominent.

It has effectively killed the already shrinking "intellectual" and "family values" elements of "conservatism" along with any give a shit about trying to pretty up their primary mission - using their status for graft.

Both are stages of the de-evolution of the party (which has been going on since W got elected and they got lazy after 9-11 and just bullied the country with WOT bullshit), and along with it what was once the greatest democracy known to man.

Scary thing is ... It can, and really looks like it is, sinking even lower

In 2010 like today they were the racists who freaked all the way out over a black president.

At the time it was somewhat shocking to see supposedly mature adults shouting down and getting face to face with others they did not agree with. IMO, this changed the strategy effectively to an approach where ideas and policies were no longer necessary. It was all about "the Constitution." Which of course wasn't true at all. It was all about intimidation. Once that became acceptable behavior to Republicans and their splinter groups it all rolled downhill.
